How these terms are written

These terms follow your relationship with Velvette through time: the day you arrive, the day you order, the day your order ships, and every day after. After the timeline, "The fine print" covers liability, governing law, and changes.

The day you arrive: acceptance and who we are

The day you order: pricing and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). The price shown on a product page is the price you pay for the item. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. The day you order: price errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before shipping. We will email you to explain what happened.

The day your order ships: order acceptance

Your order confirmation email is a receipt only. Your order is accepted when the item ships. If we cannot fulfill an item, we cancel that item and refund it in full.

Every day: product descriptions

Product descriptions describe each item as the supplier presents it. Where a product page shows a heading reading “Specifications (proposed — verify with supplier)”, the specifications under that heading are proposed and have not been independently verified by us. Product images show the item; colors may look different on different screens.

Every day: accounts and acceptable use

Ordering does not require an account. If you contact us, keep the details you give us accurate so we can find your order and reply to you. Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with the site or other visitors, or to copy site content for commercial reuse without permission. Automated scraping that degrades the site is not permitted.

Every day: intellectual property and third-party links

Site content — text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Velvette or its licensors. Do not reproduce it without permission. We link to carriers and payment providers so you can track orders and pay. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites.

The fine print

• Liability: Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in this section limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
• Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
