1. Where does Velvette ship?
We ship orders across the United States. Standard deliveries travel with USPS Priority Mail. PO Box, APO, FPO, and U.S. territory addresses ship through the U.S. Postal Service parcel service, still free. We do not ship internationally at launch. See Day 0–5: Shipping for the full timeline.
2. How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders process in 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays), then transit takes 1–3 business days in the contiguous U.S. — 2–5 business days door to door in most cases. PO Box, APO, FPO, and U.S. territory deliveries may run longer. A tracking number is emailed when your label is created.
3. Will there be order tracking?
Yes. Every order ships with a tracking number, emailed to you when the label is created. Follow the link in that email, or enter the number on the USPS site, to follow your parcel from our door to yours.
4. What is Velvette's return policy?
You have 30 days from the delivery date to return an item that is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging and resalable condition. Returns are free: email us and we send a prepaid USPS return label. See Day 0–30: Returns & Refunds for the full timeline.
5. How long do refunds take?
Refunds are released 7–10 business days after your return is accepted, to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may need additional days to post the credit. We email you when the return is received, when inspection is complete, and when the refund is released.
6. Are your pieces real leather, real silk, or real pearls?
Only if the product page says so. Materials described as “leather-look”, “satin silk-look”, or “faux pearls” are synthetic alternatives designed to resemble the appearance of those materials — they are not genuine leather, silk, or pearls. Product descriptions label these materials clearly so you know what you are choosing.
7. How do I pick the right clutch size?
Our clutch size guide shows what typically fits inside the most common clutch styles — phone, cards, keys, and lipstick for most evenings — so you can match a bag to your essentials before you order. Each product page lists the approximate proposed dimensions.
